Bonfire and Salomon

It’s breast cancer awareness month so we have to make sure to spread the words to our friends. For the guys it is always a good way to start a conversation with a chick in your local pub. Anyway Salomon and Bonfire are contributing in cool ways to spread the love and the awareness!

When tattoos go wrong

Il ike tattoo, it is about personal expression sometimes it has big meaning and sometimes it is womething you got while being drunk in Vegas (but usually you in that case you also got married to a hooker who has three kids so that the tattoo will be the least of your problem).

So anyway here is a picture I saw from this site which show that some people go a bit weird on their love for snowboarding:

Danger zone Episode 2

Dangerzone Season 2 Episode 2 - "This is Halloween" from Nick Visconti on Vimeo.

I found this video while looking at actionsportsblips, I am not quite sure what to think about it. You would have asked me seven years ago before moving to the States and I would have said that Halloween was useless but I got to warm up to this holiday and by the end of this video from Nick Visconti, I thought their jam to be quite hilarious.

Four minutes twenty eight secondes

This guy was so lucky, that must be the longest minutes of his life.

Even small avalanches are a serious danger to life, even with properly trained and equipped companions who avoid the avalanche. Between 55 and 65 percent of victims buried in the open are killed, and only 80 percent of the victims remaining on the surface survive. Thus, one normally would have a 20% chance of survival if caught in a significant avalanche. Research carried out in Italy based on 422 buried skiers indicates how the chances of survival drop:

* very rapidly from 92 percent within 15 minutes to only 30 percent after 35 minutes (victims die of suffocation)
* near zero after two hours (victims die of injuries or hypothermia)

what can you do...when it is flat

I am really confused because the winter season has been really shitty with at best some waist high wave wind chop or chest high closeout...with the summer approaching at full force, I am looking at alternative to get my muscles ready for some hurricane swell.

Well that is the only thing I found which I heard is really good but at this cost I could survive "second thoughts" style for few months except I don't really want to swim in the polio pond.

Vasa ergometer swim bench is close to $1800 so it may not be for everybody because while it increases your strength, it doesn't help you at dodging the recession

Thoughts on water

In 1999, Mr.Emoto did some research on how our thoughts are impacting water, which is mainly a quantum physic topic.

From this video, you can't deny that our thoughts have an important impact on the result of our action but most importantly on other and our surrounding react due to our emotion.

This post may not be related to action sport but because we spend so much time in water or on snow, I figured that it would good to see what our favorite elements is acting upon our emotion.

that's how I want my place to be like....

that's right. Once in a while it is good to have a mancave so that you can have peace and some quiet time to think, etc...
I would loveto have this bubble in my backyard:)
